Hopeful Romantic Seeking 2 End Loneliness

I guess I should tell you a little bit about myself so here goes.....My name is James, I turn 66 y/o on Sept. 2. I'm 6'3" tall, 185 lb. and I've been divorced 18 years. I live on the South side of Chicago, Illinois, USA. I have been an Art teacher and Discipline Officer for 34 years with C.P.S.. I have a surviving son, Marcus living in Tennessee. I dedicate a major part of my life to my work and my church to evade loneliness (as my friends and colleagues are so fond of telling me). I guess that's one of the reasons why I'm here! I am apprehensive about spending the rest of my life alone (without a significant other), and I've been out of the dating game for so long that I'm not comfortable in the clubs and nightlife anymore. I enjoy meeting and getting to know new friends. I believe in and practice the Golden Rule in my everyday life and activities. I try to live as Christian a life as I can.
