Looking back on your life, of what are you most proud?: Obtaining my teaching certification. I studied in college to be a teacher for many years and then obtained a job in the Oil and Gas Industry and changed my major. After many years of stress and turmoil I was laid off and decided to finally pursue my dream - to teach. I was 46. Although I had few education classes and my major was history (English was a minor) I took the state tests for professionalism and subject matter and passed them with flying colors the first time out. Woo Oho. I love my job.
